Amanda Tromley, independent illustrative designer, enjoys the process of creation in many forms. Perhaps best known for her line art created either in pen and ink or Adobe Illustrator, Tromley also loves creating innovative graphic designs and watercolor, acrylic and digital paintings.
Tromley studied advertising design at the Elkhart Area Career Center in Indiana, and received several awards as a student, including first place at regional and third place at state in the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America design competitions. She continues to educate herself about various artistic techniques, design software and the illustration and design industry in general.
Her distinctive illustration style makes magazine, newsletter and web content articles jump off the page. Her book, CD and DVD cover illustration and design demand attention. Tromley’s sign designs give businesses curb appeal and customers valuable information. Her print designs for flyers, advertisements, letterheads, brochures and logos can visually solve any number of client problems in countless industries.
In addition to her illustration and design work, Tromley maintains a blog providing tips, tricks and techniques to other artists and designers. She actively participates on a number of industry websites, forums and blogs and particularly enjoys helping other artists with software questions, critiques and industry information.
